Your Account
You can access your child’s/children’s enrollment(s) below. You can add programs, change payment methods, and see pertinent information including emergency contacts, information about your child, etc. Please be sure all of your contact information is always up-to-date.
Location
We are located at the end of Arreba Street in Martinez. As you drive down the small neighborhood and come to the end of Arreba St, we are located on the right-hand side. You will see a dirt road and sign that says, “Camp SHINE.”
The best address to use for GPS purposes is 90 Arreba Street (we are located directly across the street). Please drive through the gate and come to the roundabout to drop drop off/pick up your children.
We will be at the parking lot to welcome you and bring your child up the hill to camp. At pick up its easiest to pull all the way through and create a roundabout to pick up your child who will be escorted to your car. This helps eliminate traffic jams.
Please be sure to not block Arreba Street or hold up traffic. We are a one way road, so please pull aside and let people through should that be needed. We want to be respectful of our neighbors and make sure we aren’t a burden on our small neighborhood. We ask that you take a deep breath and drive slow down Arebba St. (even if running late 🙂 we want to respect our neighborhood.
What to Bring to Camp
Backpack with the following:
– Water bottle
– Lunch
– Change of clothes
– Closed toe shoes
– Sun screen / Sun hat
Summer Camp Only
-Wear your bathing suit to camp if comfortable (We do have private places to change should that be uncomfortable for your child. For those who are comfortable, it cuts down on changing time.)
-We provide towels and goggles
For Horsin Around Camp, please bring:
- Lunch
- Water bottle
- Closed toe shoes
**We do not swim in this program.

Weather/Rescheduling
Belongings
Please no outside toys, cell phones (can stay in backpack but not to be used at camp) or anything valuable! Belongings can get lost at camp as we move about the property so, please leave anything important to your child at home.
Horseback Riding
We provide helmets so your child does not need to bring one. Closed toe shoes are required, this is important to protect their feet.
Your child will learn to groom and tend to the horse. They will also be given a ride where they are led on the horse. This is more of a horse experience vs. a horse lesson. Of course, we welcome children with more horse experience to share with us their knowledge and to take a leadership role in imparting with us all they know about horsemanship.
Winter Sessions
We love winter at Camp SHINE and there is no such thing as bad weather just poorly dressed people.
Here’s what we suggest for winter:
- An Outer shell with a waterproof pant/bibs and jacket
- Rain-boots are a must or waterproof shoes as it can get muddy at the farm.
- Dress in layers, as the day goes on kiddos often peel off a layer and have clean clothes underneath, that earlier in the day helped keep them warm. It’s a great system.
- Change of clothes in your backpack.
- Beanie or warm hat
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel at anytime we have a 4% cancellation fee. You have up to 2 weeks until the start of your camp to request a full refund minus the Cancellation Fee. Should you cancel for any reason after the 2 weeks, you are responsible for the full tuition. We do not offer make up days and we do not provide refunds for missed camp. Thanks for your understanding.
