CAMP SHINEPOLICIESContact us with any questions.
- There is a 4% fee for cancellations per enrollment. Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to your camp date or the guardian is responsible for full tuition.
- Should you miss camp for any reason we do not refund or credit or offer make up days, this may include vacations, illness or unforeseen incidents.
- Only school-aged children are eligible to participate in Camp Shine. California law defines “school-aged” as a child that has entered the first grade or above, or is in a child care program that provides care and supervision exclusively to children enrolled in kindergarten or above. (22 CCR 101152)
- We do not offer make up days.
- We are not responsible for lost items at camp. Please do not bring anything valuable.
- We are a drop-off only program. Please note this prior to registration.
- Once you register you will get a welcome letter automatically sent to your inbox. If you don’t receive one, please check your junk mail and then reach out to us at hello@campshine.com to make sure that you are indeed registered with us.
- Some of our classes may be held on school holidays for your charter (each charter has their own holidays and it’s therefore difficult to accommodate everyone). If this is the case, you are personally responsible for covering tuition for that day that the charter will not fund.
- The parent or guardian is ultimately responsible for payment should funds not go through. Please be aware of your account balance prior to signing up. Should you not have the full amount, we can bill you the difference. You will also be financially responsible for camp days that land on holidays that may not be covered by your charter
- Camp Shine is not a specialized special needs program and may not be equipped to support all behavioral, emotional, physical, or developmental needs. While we do welcome some children with additional needs when appropriate for our setting, Camp Shine reserves the right to determine if our program is a good fit for each child. If you would like to discuss whether Camp Shine may be a good fit for your child, please call us at 925-766-9070 prior to registering so we can better understand your child’s needs and discuss program suitability.
If we determine at any point that a child requires additional support beyond what our staff can reasonably provide to maintain a safe, positive, and successful environment for all participants, Camp Shine reserves the right to withdraw the child from the program without a refund.
Please reach out before registration if you have any questions or concerns regarding eligibility or program fit.
A Quick Note About Make-Up Days
While we try not to reschedule classes, occasionally weather or unforeseen circumstances require us to make up a class. This will either be a day added at the end of the session or may be scheduled on a Friday, so we appreciate your flexibility and wanted to flag you of this in advance.
